Product Details
The bearings used in automotive suspensions typically consist of plastic upper and lower housings paired with a thrust bearing core. The thrust bearing itself usually comprises two inner and outer ring components that are directly stamped, along with a steel ball retainer assembly. During installation, these bearings are fitted into the suspension strut assemblies, where the upper and lower housings, together with the core, form a rotating unit. In the platform development process at automotive OEMs, these bearings undergo numerous tests; moreover, during routine production, periodic sampling inspections are conducted on each batch. Among these tests are torque measurements under various temperature conditions. To meet this need, we have specially developed this suspension bearing torque tester equipped with software analysis capabilities.
