The BGT-1A sealing performance testing machine is primarily used to test the sealing performance of sealed bearings, including grease leakage, temperature rise, and dust resistance. By changing the tooling, this single machine can be used for three different purposes.
Lubricant Leakage Performance Test: The key procedure involves applying a specific load and rotational speed to the bearing, running it continuously for 6 hours, and then inspecting its lubricant leakage condition and quantifying the amount of leaked lubricant to evaluate the bearing’s ability to prevent lubricant leakage. Dust Resistance Performance Test: The bearing is placed in a specified dusty environment and operated at a specific rotational speed for 6 hours. Using a microscope, the quantity of dust that has penetrated into the bearing interior is observed and measured, thereby assessing the bearing’s dust resistance performance. Temperature Rise Performance Test: The bearing is operated under a specific load and rotational speed, and the temperature rise—the difference between the highest temperature of the outer ring and the ambient temperature at the same time—is used to evaluate the bearing’s temperature-rise performance.
