Product Details
The fully automatic eddy-current testing machine for bearing raceways detects anomalies in the impedance of the probe coil caused by changes in eddy currents and magnetic fields resulting from defects in metallic materials, thereby determining whether defects are present on or near the surface of the metal. By employing a well-designed mechanical structure, appropriately arranging multiple probes, and integrating an eddy-current detector and control system, this machine can inspect both end faces as well as the inner and outer ring surfaces of bearing raceways. It also features automatic material transfer and sorting (rejecting defective parts), thus achieving the goal of automated flaw detection for bearing raceways.
Outer Ring Process Flow
Belt feeding → Transfer and lateral movement → Groove detection → Top surface detection → Turning over → Bottom surface detection → Outer cylindrical surface detection → NG rejection → OK output
Outer Ring Process Flow
Cracks and defects that extend inward from the workpiece surface to a depth ≥ 0.06 mm, with a length ≥ 2 mm and a width ≥ 0.01 mm; for cracks inside the metal that have not yet extended to the workpiece surface, when the thickness of the metal between the upper edge of the crack and the workpiece surface is ≤ 0.2 mm, the cracks must have a depth ≥ 0.20 mm, a length ≥ 2 mm, and a width ≥ 0.01 mm.
Missed-detection rate: 0%, meaning 100% of non-conforming products are rejected; false-alarm rate (mistakenly classifying a conforming product as non-conforming) ≤ 2%.
