This measuring instrument is an automatic vibration analyzer specifically designed for bearings in third-generation wheel hubs, intended for use on the same assembly line.
The wheel hub bearings provided are categorized as either "qualified" or "unqualified" after being inspected by this measuring instrument. Qualified products are conveyed out via the discharge conveyor belt, while unqualified products are routed into the unqualified material hopper (the unqualified material hopper and associated components are supplied by SKF and must be installed on-site).
The spindle of the three-generation hub unit automatic vibration analyzer adopts a bottom-mounted vertical design. The spindle is driven by a hydrostatic and hydrodynamic sliding bearing, ensuring high rotational accuracy. Loading is achieved via a cylinder that pushes the loading shaft, which is guided by linear bearings to ensure that the loading force is perpendicular to the bearing end face.
The most significant feature of the third-generation hub unit automatic vibration tester is that it automates the entire process—from material feeding and inspection to material output (distinguishing between qualified and unqualified units). The testing time can be adjusted as needed (without compromising the quality of bearing tests, such as in response to production rhythms), thereby reducing workers’ labor intensity and improving production efficiency.
The three-generation hub unit automatic vibration tester consists of nine main components: the spindle lubrication oil circuit system, the spindle system, the feeding conveyor belt, the workpiece clamping, moving, and positioning mechanism, the bearing loading device, the laser sensor detection system, the discharge conveyor belt (for both pass and fail products), and the computer-based measurement instrument and control system.
